Insect swarm discovers food for all

A tent in a small mid-western town thought to be a house infested with termites was actually a circus tent full of goodies like popcorn, candy and human beings.

Hordes of bugs late this afternoon swarmed the red- and yellow-striped structure to consume all the treats for the taking.

“I envy the scientifically-engineered insects who can eat large amounts of cotton candy stands whole,” said a regular-sized cockroach who took part in the day’s festivities. “My friends and I still had a great time.”

People were running and screaming for their lives as the insects descended upon them.

“It’s really cool when they fight back,” said a spider the size of a Porsche Cayenne. “You can’t do better than that on a Saturday afternoon.”

What began as a quick stop for fun and games became a great day of amazing terror.
